# Dependencies

> Required and optional plugins for the BedWars server setup.

## Installation steps

**1. Stop the server**

Stop the server before adding or updating plugin files.

**2. Download your dependencies**

Download Marcely's Bedwars and any optional add-ons from the links above using the account that purchased them.

**3. Upload plugin files**

Place the downloaded JAR files in the server's `plugins/` folder. Do not extract JAR files unless the plugin's own documentation specifically says to.

**4. Start and verify**

Start the server and check the console for successful plugin enable messages. Resolve version or license errors before configuring gameplay.

> Use compatible versions of the server software, Java, Marcely's Bedwars, and each add-on. Update the setup only after checking the change notes for each dependency.
