## Overview

The [**BEDWARS - Premium Server Setup**](https://builtbybit.com/resources/bedwars-premium-server-setup.128424/) is a ready-to-use BedWars experience by [Ph4ntom](https://builtbybit.com/members/ph4ntom.351771/) and [Immortal Studios](https://builtbybit.com/members/immortal-studios.471544/). It includes four queue modes, 30+ maps, a polished spawn, progression systems, and server-wide branding tools.

## Setup requirements

**Required plugin** `required`

[Marcely's Bedwars](https://mbedwars.com/product/marcelys-bedwars/) is a paid, required dependency. See [Dependencies](/server-setups/bedwars/dependencies.md) for purchase and installation links.

**Optional add-ons** `optional`

Cosmetics & Coins and the separately purchased Bedrock Compatibility Addon extend the setup but are not required for a Java-only BedWars server.

## System Requirements

**Server Jar** `required`

Use **[Paper 26.2](https://papermc.io/downloads/)** or a stable fork.

**Possible forks:** Purpur, Pufferfish, or Leaf
\[!NOTE] The setup has only been tested on Paper 26.2. Use the forks at your own preference.

**Java Version** `required`

You must use **Java 25** to run this setup.

**Memory (RAM)** `recommended`

**Minimum:** 3-4 GB+ RAM for smooth gameplay without lag

**Gameplay**

* **Four BedWars modes** — Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads with matchmaking and fast starts
* **30+ arena maps** — Automatic arena resets after each game
* **Team selection** — Players choose teams before the game begins
* **Generator splitter** — Shares resources fairly between nearby teammates
* **Team upgrades and traps** — Strengthen your team during a match
* **Private games** — A donor perk for hosting matches with friends

## Getting started

**1. Confirm versions and dependencies**

Check the setup's supplied version notes, then install Marcely's Bedwars before starting the server.

**2. Upload the setup**

Upload the setup files to a clean server installation and start it once to generate any required files.

**3. Configure your server**

Update your branding, network links, ranks, and game settings before opening the server to players.

**4. Test every mode**

Test Solos, Duos, Trios, Quads, arena resets, shops, and permissions with a small group first.

**5. Launch**

Open the server after testing and monitoring the console for dependency or configuration errors.
